School Visits

There are lots of things you want to look for in schools: are the pupils sensible or silly, are the teachers fun or strict, is it better known for good lessons or good sports, and more, here is some of my best advice.

The tour guide should give you a good impression of what the school is like (if a student is giving the tour), they give you an example of a child there, some questions you should ask yourself are: Are they confident? Are they sensible? Are they intelligent? And are they over-confident? Do you think they would be the sort of person you would want as a friend?

The teachers should also be professional and you should want to be taught by them, they should reinforce the rules without being to strict, they should be fun whilst being serious. The working environment is also vital to know, are the class-rooms cramped? Would they distract you? And do they make you feel welcome into the school? If not maybe you should reconsider.

Not only should the class rooms be comfortable but the sports facilities should also be nice. They should be large and there should be a variety of sports, football, rugby and cricket are usually the main ones, but is there a swimming pool, a tennis court, or a basketball court? The sports coaches should coax you and respect you even if your on the lowest team.

Watch out because some schools only play rugby or football – not both.
